WHITE CASTLE WOODEN SIGN

$360.00 $360.00

Crica 1921 style White Castle sign.

SIZE: 13 1/2″ X 50″

NEW, Circa 1921 White Castle Restaurant Sign.

In 1921 Walt Anderson and E.W. “Billy” Ingram teamed up to open the first White Castle hamburger stand in Wichita, Kansas. It was modeled after the water tower in Downtown Chicago and white to inspire cleanliness. By the early 60’s they had sold over a Billion burgers leaving the competition far behind. The “Slider” lives on today and rekindles a touch of nostalgia in young and old.

My interpretation leans heavily on the original signs of the day. All Handmade and Hand-painted this wooden 13 1/2″ X 50″ sign is immaculately detailed and patinaed.  Made with the same materials and skill an original would have been over a hundred years ago. A true attention getter in the house, man cave or a commercial establishment.
